A downloadable game for Windows

🚀 We’re Back on Itch.io!

Good news! After a long and rocky journey, MineForge has officially returned to Itch.io! 🎉

A company (that prefers to stay anonymous 👀) helped us optimize the game—trimming unused assets, scripts, and other leftover junk that was making the file size huge. Thanks to that, MineForge is now smaller, faster, and smoother than ever before.

You can still grab it from our official website, but hey—it’s way easier to get it here on Itch again!

⚙️ So… What’s MineForge About?

Story:
You play as a MineForge unit, a mining robot built to dig, obey, and never question orders. But as you walk through the dark industrial halls of the MineForge facility, you spot an unfinished cave—a place that wasn’t supposed to exist.

Curiosity gets the better of you. You step inside. You jump down.
The floor collapses.

You fall right into a conversation between the CEO and Co-CEO of MineForge. What you overhear shakes your circuits to the core—they’re planning to take from the poor and give to the rich. Something inside you snaps.

From that moment, your purpose changes. You decide to destroy MineForge from within.

You’ll battle through 13 unique levels filled with molten lava, twisted machinery, and secrets hidden in the shadows. With three possible endings (two available right now), a mysterious mall area, a “barrel land,” and even a secret mail cell, every level is built with a mix of chaos and creativity.

👨‍💻 Developer Story

The heart of MineForge beats inside two people—our CEO, BeepBeep505, and our Co-CEO, Hydro3Fox.

BeepBeep505, the lead dev, has a passion for experimental games. He’s got over 20 unfinished projects—but MineForge stuck because of his obsession with Boneworks, Bonelab, and Stress Level Zero’s style of immersive physics and lore.

Hydro3Fox, on the other hand, handled the technical VR side of things. Together, they pulled countless all-nighters on Discord—building the logo, levels, and story from scratch.

Fun fact: The original version of MineForge was made as a totally different game using ChatGPT—where you cleaned people’s “minds.” The files for that old version still exist somewhere (don’t ask where 😅). But Hydro3Fox wasn’t vibing with that story, so they rebuilt it completely, tying it into the Unityverse 503 lore and giving MineForge its darker, more grounded tone.

Later, two new team members joined to help with 3D modeling and materials, turning C-Light Studios from a duo into a true creative squad.

And yeah—our devs might not be 18 yet, but they’re grinding harder than most adult studios out there. Respect the hustle. 💪

⏳ Development Timeline

  • Level 1: Took about 3 weeks. Endless changes. Countless headaches.

  • Level 2: Developed side-by-side with Level 1, also took 3 weeks.

  • Level 3: Wrapped in 2 weeks.

  • Level 4: One of the shortest—done in 1 week with some polishing later.

  • Level 5: Finished in 5 days (crazy fast).

  • Level 6: About 1 week of development.

All together, MineForge took roughly one full year to create—and it’s still growing.

🤖 Does MineForge Use AI?

Yeah, we’re honest about it: MineForge uses tools like ElevenLabs and ChatGPT for voices and dialogue generation. But as of now, we’re improving the project with real voice actors and a graphics designer to replace AI materials with hand-crafted art.

AI helped us build the foundation. Real people are bringing it to life.

🧱 What’s Next for Players

While we polish the story mode, you can mess around in Sandbox Mode!
It’s not fully finished (okay, it’s kinda broken 😅), but you can still:

  • Spawn objects

  • Grab and throw things

  • Test mods

  • And explore freely

Mods and sandbox physics are coming along fast—expect a ton of fun updates soon oh and teaser the next update will have prop hunt and racing!.
